It hit an iceberg at 11:40pm on the 14th on April 1912, and sank with the loss of 1514 lives

TITANIC

PRESUMPTION!

  • If they had binoculars they would have seen the iceberg before.
  • If the lifeboats had been filled more people would have saved.
  • If they had sent more ships to pick up survivors would have saved more people.
  • In the Titanic only the first class had private bath rooms, third class had it rough with 2 bathtubs for more than 700 people.
  • The lifeboats in the Titanic were launched off were no filled to capacity, only carried 24 people, despite having a capacity of 65, despite having a capacity for 40
  • The Titanic have only 37 seconds to skip the iceberg because they hadn't binoculars and when they saw that was so late.
  • On April 17, 1912. Before survivors of the Titanic disaster the Mackay-Bennet was sent to search for bodies. It found 306 bodies, 116 of these were too badly to take all the way back to shore.
  • On board the Titanic was a Sea Post Office. 5 mail clerks was the responsible for 3423 sacks of mail on board.
  • Were 9 dogs on board, but only 2 of these was rescued.
  • The Carpathia was send to search bodies, but it couldn't picked up all the survivors
