Evidence Pt.2

Ratified 26th Amendment

28th Amendment Project

The edit that we've made to the amendment is that the age should be lower. It should be for United States citizens that are 16 years and older.

Evidence

Last year when we voted for our new president many elders chose Trump. Many young adults chose Hillary because Trump was a liar, wasn't a conservative, and he even promoted political violence. After we heard that Trump had won the presidential debate many people were astounded because we all thought Hillary was going to win. The younger population would've picked Hillary because they aren't racist and have common sense.

26th Amendment

Why the change?

The 26th amendment states that the citizens of the United States have to be a certain age to vote. That age is 18 and older. The vote should not be denied by any state.

We changed the age restriction of voting because the younger kids votes should matter as well. The kids know what they want for the future and they should know that their opinion matters as well for the U.S.
