Trial

Dennis Stockton's trial was held in Stuart, Virginia in 1983.

Witnesses testified that he killed and buried another man named Ronnie Tate in North Carolina in 1979.

The jury ruled that he would be a future danger to society and was sentenced to death.

Evidence against him

Witnesses claimed that the last person to be seen with Kenny was Dennis.

Fellow inmate heard him bragging about accepting $1,500 to kill Kenny.

Dennis killed another man named Ronnie Tate back in 1979, he claimed it was self defense.

Reason why he was suspected

Dennis already had a criminal record and he was the last person to see him alive.

2 years after the crime, Stockton was in jail for other charges there were rumors about him that the police suspected him of Arnder's murder.
