Less Isolation

Behavior Issues

Including special education students in the regular classroom helps to break down the barrier of isolation these students often encounter

It imparts compassion and understanding among the general education students

Students with emotional and other disabilities may also exhibit disruptive behavior with can disrupt instruction in the regular classroom

Having behavior contracts and regular communication between the general and special education teachers, the students and the parents can mitigate these problems
