After finding out that Cuba had paired up with the Soviet Union and missiles were being aimed towards the United States, people in both countries were in high alert. Till this day, Cuba is still on the no visit and trade restriction list. The bomb rooms that people had created to protect themselves have now been turned into party rooms.
