Special shout out to google :)

The Creation

-4.5 billion years ago (around 30-50 million years after the origin of the solar system) the moon formed from the debris of the collision between a proto-earth and another planetoid.

-Took billions of years later to form into the shape of what they are now. (-_- spheres)

I know you don't want one but they told me too. (sad face)

Quiz Time!!!

How many years ago was the collision of proto-earth and the planetoid?

4.5 billion years ago!

What 2 things cause the movement of the tides? (the gravatational oul of?....)

The gravitational pull of the sun and the moon

Dont act like you knew the answer.

Who was the first man on the moon?

My homie Neil Armstrong!

That was probably the hardest question.

The Landing

-At some point in history. America be like "screw it, lets go to the moon" during the cold war.

The Light Of The Night

-It took about three days to reach the moon. The fastest trip was made by the New Horizons on its way to pluto which took 8 hours and 35 min.

-Rocks from the moon that resemble that of earth were found and that came to the conclusion that there was an impact along time ago.

-Lets start off by saying that the moon is awesome!

-As a sample of its size. The diameter if this thing is 3,474 km (2,159 miles)

- The moons gravity is one-sixth of that of earths! (#moonwalk)

Little Cool Extra Awesome Moon Facts

-The distance from earth to the moon is 238,857 miles.

-It fullly orbits the earth every 27.3 days

-The first person to set foot on it was Neil Armstrong (duh)

-The moon reaches 107 degrees celsius in daytime and -153 degrees celsius at night time.

-The moon glows because science says so... (suns reflected light)

The Moons Impacts On Earth

-The tides of the ocean are effected from the gravitational pull of the sun and the moon .

-The 23.5 degree tilt was made from the impact that created the moon

-The moon also inspired early astronomers from the earlier centuries such as the mayans.
