A web scripting virus is a type computer security vulnerability through websites that breaches your web browser security. This allowed the attackers to inject client-side scripting into the web page. It can bypass access controls, steal your information from your web browser.

What are the different forms of web scripting viruses?

The first one is Non-persistent is when you are attacked without knowing. The second one is A persistent attack is when you directly get your cookies stolen and the attacker can hijack your session. This allows the attacker to impersonate you and can lead to a lot of damage.

How to remove scripting virus?

Using Microsoft tool is the safe, secure and simple option to get rid of the viruses. The process of running the software is easy. This application comes default with windows Vista, Windows 2000, and windows 7. If you are using any of the versions you can run the removal tools easily.

If not stopped, these viruses will lead to severe damage to or even destruction of your computer.

The virus slow down the performance of the machine and a user feels it has got stuck. This includes slow down of opening programs and frequent shut down of the machine.

  • The good news is that it is easy to stop this virus if compared wit traditional web viruses because if a user denies access to the affected website, can easily prevent the spread.
