Teen Behavior

The way teenagers behave has changed dramatically over the last 50 years. Teenagers in the 1960's used to have much more freedom than the youth of today. Kids could walk around wherever they wanted all day without having to worry about getting in trouble for it. Drinking and smoking was also different back then. It was not unusual to see teenagers walking around with cigarettes or having a beer out in public. Not to say that teenagers don't still do these activities, just that getting caught doing them today would have much different consequences than back then.

Adolescents: Then and Now

Clothing

Style has also changed over time. The average teenager girl in a 1960's school would probably be wearing a long plaid skirt with a t-shirt and cardigan. Men would be wearing sexy floral pants with shirt. Poofy hair was not uncommon. Girls today often show up to school in tight pants and teeny-weeny skirts with low-cut shirts because they're classy. Guys sag their pants to their knees, wear shoes with tongues bigger than their heads, massive hats, and usually a shirt. they also have class.

Natalia Said To Put These In.

Adolescents have changed so much since the 1960's and 70's. You can tell just by Googling pictures, or by talking to your grandparents. John would've never gotten away with any of the things he got away with, especially the drinking and smoking. In modern day, we can't go sit in deserted cemetaries or drive to a casino with an old man and gamble. The rules are very different now; we have to be 21 to drink, 18 to gamble, and 16 to smoke. there is a huge difference in the way people look at our generation. the teenagers in the 1960's now look at us as devils, because we get tattoos, smoking pot, and sagging our pants. Overall, the behavior of teens has varied greatly with time.

"We used to be so cool.

We could go wherever,

whenever. We could

walk around in bell

bottoms and smoke pot.

Us teens were the bomb.

We had huge parties and the cops would come and party with us, and they wouldn't care if we were smoking or drinkng. it is all very different these days."

"These children, these teens, this generation is so unable, incapable of helpin themselves. They have smart phones and laptops that go everywhere with them."
