Your ready for Safe Driving!!!!

My Actions

Many families and friends have had terribletimes when a loved one has passed because of driving under the influence. I want to stop this awful cause. The ways I can help are by:

  • Going around house to house in my community raising awarenss by passing around pamphlets on ffects of driving under the influence.
  • Put signs around my school on drunk driving to let fellow teenagers to not drink or do drugs becuase it can take people lives away.

This is important to me and my friends to spread awareness on DUI because we don't want any person to feel the loss of losing a loved and thinking of negative things. We want the road to be a safe environment when were able to drive also.

Alternative Problem

How to work on problem

An alternative solution to raising awareness on driving under the influence is for a group of people to go around communites with signs and pamphlets showing people the real dangers of driving under effect of drugs and alcohol. The people seeing these signs will let information across to friends and people will make smarter decisions to not drive dangerously and take their lives.

Many organization's are working to solve driving under the influence. MADD American Automobile Association(Mothers against Drunk Driving) is an organization raising awareness on driving under the influence and showing the effects it has on teens and adults. Driving under the influence is 100% preventable crime which we have the decision to not drive. You can can volunteer, donate, and take action to slow this awful things

AAA (American Automobile Association) DUI (Driving under the Influence) Justice is working on problem by teaching peoplethe effects and dangers of driving under the influence. It is raising awarenss of alcohol with adults and teens. It teachers teenagers about zero tolerence law and just not to take risk of doing it.

What these organizations are doing are importat because its raising awareness to people of the troubles and dangers of driving under the influence. Its important to me because many families suffer from losses in DUI's. Driving under the influence is also important to me because I have seen people who have drank but not driven anywhere and luckily none of my friends or family have been in a driving under the influence problem or crash. It puts people lives in danger and I don't want any innocent human being to lose their live.

Riding around with these types of drivers make me feel insecure and not be able to trust other drivers. This is a problem because every driver should be able to have an easier time driving if the other drivers are safe too. With this issue it would not make anyone more comfurtable, but more insecure and less trustworthy on the road with other people.

Driving Under the influence essay

Effects

The effects can seriously injure people and even take peoples lives.

Driving under the influence

Roy Gilfix

These statistice show how that many teens are still drinking and than driving, even though some luckily make it home, thousands don't and lose their lives. They cause devastation to their family and friends and it could have been prevented.

It's a problem because they believe they can drive home, but their judgement is impaired and hardly any choice their making at the moment is right. Thats why they must stay where they are until their fine.

Whats the Problem?

The problem with driving under the influence with teenagers is that it impairs their judgement and actions which may cost their lives. (Driving under the influence) or (DUI)

  • high school teens drive after drinking about 2.4 million times a month.
  • Young drivers (ages 16-20) are 17 times more likely to die in a crash when they have a blood alcohol concentration of .08% than when they have not been drinking.
