According to the answers, we concluded that majority of the subjects were unaware of the paralanguage and its very existence. That doesn’t mean that they never used paralanguage in their daily lives, in fact they were using them without knowing.
We can define it as, anything which aid non-verbal communicating methods are paralinguistic features. like;

To see how people use paralanguage in their daily lives, we carried out a simple survey on a small scale, in our campus of University of Central Punjab. The motive of this survey was to elaborate and understand the use of paralinguistic in a better way than most of the people had in their minds.
We enrolled 31 subjects in our survey. 18 of them falling in the age group of 17-19, 7 in the age group of 20-23 and rest of the 6 were in 24+.
Questionnaires were distributed among the students of class Bscs1, Bs-English, ADP-IT (3) and Msc-IT (3). Also we get this questionnaire solved from some of the professors.
So we can say that Paralanguage is an Art
in communication, like art is used to express
the emotions, ideas, feeling etc.
The same way Paralanguage helps one to
express one’s message effectively while
communicating.
Without speaking extra words and phrases.
Gestures:
Gestures are the movement of body parts like hands, head, legs, fingers, etc. and they can be voluntary or involuntary.
Facial Expressions:
Facial expressions are basic when expressing emotions to a communication. These emotions involve happiness, sadness, depression, anger and other emotions like that.
Body Space/ Proxemics:
It is the use of personal space while communicating. That mean it involves that how near, far, above below a person is present while being in communication.

Paralanguage (from Greek para: beside or beyond) is a component of secondary communication (including indirect cues) that may modify or subtle meaning,
or convey emotion etc. It is also known as non-verbal communication.
Paralinguistic features are important in our daily communication and everyone use paralanguage in one way or the other, no matter being aware of it or not.

Body Language:
Body language or Kinesics is the way you use your body posture while talking/communicating to someone.

Eye contact is thought to have a large influence on communication. It defines a sign of confidence, respect, boredom, intimidation, or disrespect. Though Amount of eye contact is the Key.

Another important part of nonverbal communication is the voice modulation. It means how one modules his voice while talking/communicating. It involves pace of the voice, pitch of the voice, Pauses, Power, volume, Stress on words and inflection.
