Cons

Most constitutional monarchies today combine representative democracy through parliamentary system with a with a monarchy. Each country has its own constitution that outlines what their government should look like. In the parliamentary system, the monarch will either hold only ceremonial duties or they will have reserve powers. In a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system, the Prime Minister actually governs the country.
