Human Growth vs. Plant Growth

Both plants and humans grow by multiplying their cells

In a human, some parts grow much more than others, but there is no singular part that grows an extremely signifigant amount compared to the rest of the body

In most plants, there is a part called the apex which is where the stem grows an EXTREMELY significant amount compared to the rest of the plant

In both plants and animals, there are parts of the body designed to carry the nutrients needed for growth. In a animal it is blood and in a plant it is the Xylem and Phloem Tissue

Humans are born with a set number of limbs and if one get's cut off it cannot regenerate.

Plants can grow limbs and some plants can regenerate limbs

Humans obtain the large majority of the materials needed for growth from outside sources.

In both animals and plants, there are parts made for collecting some of the nutrients needed. In animals it is the digestive system and in the plants it is the roots

In a plant, it makes a lot of it's food that is required for growth
