Sungai Pinang Kita (SPK) is a 3-year community-based creative arts program, using non-formal arts education to address issues faced in the community, in collaboration with arts educators, artists and community.
In this program workshops are held with young people aged 10 - 18 years from lower-income communities to help develop their critical and analytical skills on issues and challenges they face within their living environment; empowering them to take charge of the issues by exploring solutions using the medium of creative arts.
