Represented the practical needs of daily life and their role in specific activities.

  • Jupiter (Zeus) - Ruler of the Gods. God of the sky, lighting and thunder. Considered the patron god of Rome.
  • Minerva (Athena) - Goddess of craft and wisdom. Protector of industry and education.
  • Juno (Hera) - Queen of the Gods. Goddess of marriage and compassion.
  • Diana (Artemis) - Goddess of the hunt and animals. Depicted with a bow and arrow with a hunting dog in tow.
  • Mars (Ares) - God of war and courage. Father of Romulus, worshiped by Roman legions.
