Overlapping: When a teacher does multiple things at a time and is spreading his attention over the different things.

Ripple Effect: When a teacher corrects misbehavior of students and positively influences behavior of other students nearby.

Momentum: The flow of a lesson. Having a steady sense of movement for the lesson helps with engaging the students in activities and helps from not causing misbehavior.

Teacher Personality: A teacher's personality depends on how they teach in the classroom

Jacob Kounin did two studies in 1970 about Classroom Management. In that book he went in depth on what it does to keep students learning and keep the classroom peaceful. He believed that organization and being prepared are the key to engaging students in the classroom.
