Why?
My conclusion
American Shorthair Cat and Andean Condor
When I chose what the kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus and species would be, I figured I would just do half-half. That is, until I put into consideration the weight of the cat to andean condor wingspan ratio. In the end, I still did half-half, but I decided to make the genus and class andean condor, because it's class means: any warm-blooded, egg-laying creature with forelimbs made to form wings. I was okay with warm blooded and egg laying, but obviously I would want the wings. I wanted the genus 'vultur' because I thought
since the Felis Gryphus is a wild animal, it will need to
be able to hunt and the vulture genus means
'scavinging bird of prey'.

For this assignment the two animals I chose were the American Shorthair cat and the Andean condor. I chose these two because to me the cat was always a pretty boring thing, so I thought: what if it could fly? So then I searched up cat breeds and I found the American Shorthair: classified as a small/medum-sized cat. I figured I couldn't have a big cat or else the weight wouldn't have been supported properly to fly, and I chose the Andean Condor because it had a wingspan of 10 feet. I needed a big wingspan because then it would be able to hold up
the cat.
