A Clockwork Orange Storyboard

Alex is the leader of his friends who has two different sides to his life. In the morning, he is just a normal and kind person, but at night, he is sociopathic and mentally psychotic.

Pete is the "ladie's man" of the group. Despite his wits and charm, he is the least violent out of all of them.

Georgie is Alex's greedy second-in-command. He tries to undermine Alex's status as leader. He later dies during a failed robbery attempt while Alex is in prison.

Dim is the most idiotic and buffoonish out of the entire group. He later becomes a police officer, giving revenge to Alex for the abuse he once suffered under his command.

The Korova Milk Bar is a nightclub where Alex and his friends go out and drink milk that is drugged with amphetamines in it, which "sharpens them up" so they can go out and cause violence.

They first beat up a teacher for having an anatomy book with obscene pictures inside of it.

Next, they walk down a waterway where they meet a homeless man and beat him up for being drunk, singing in public, and even for just being old. The homeless man later gives revenge to Alex after he is released from prison.

Alex and his friends go to an abandoned power plant where they meet up with rival gang member Billyboy and his friends to have a gang war. Alex successfully wins the war with his friends, just as the cops are about to show up. Billyboy later becomes a police officer with Dim and gives revenge to Alex after he is released from prison.

After that, they steal a car and try to run people over on a highway and they try to find more victims.

They park in front of a writer's house outside of town in the middle of nowhere and they break in by convincing the owners that Pete was bleeding to death and they needed their help. After they break in, the gang beats up the writer and rapes his wife.

Later, they return to the Korova Milk Bar, when all of a sudden, a woman sings a piece from Mozart and Alex is astonished by hearing a complete stranger singing Mozart in the Milk Bar, until Dim interupts her by speaking gibberish. Alex punches Dim in the face for having no manners and Dim said that he doesn't want to be his friend anymore. Alex threatens to hurt him even more and Dim hesitates and apologizes.

Alex returns to his home later that night and plays Beethoven's Ninth Symphony Fourth Movement while he's sleeping, he ends up having dreams of bloody and gory violence and he feel awesome about it.

The next morning, Alex decides to ditch school by telling his mother that he has a headache and his mother falls for it. His parents question what he's been doing at night lately. They may think he has a job at night where he "helps" people.

Alex leaves his room after his parents leave only to find his school advisor Mr. Deltoid. He mentions to Alex that he needs to get his behavoir straight and that Billyboy mentioned Alex's name when the cops arrived at the old power plant the last night.

After Mr. Deltoid leaves, Alex goes to a record store to purchase a Beethoven record when he ends up meeting with two young girls to "hang out" with him at his apartment.

Alex meets up with his friends and Georgie and Dim say that everyone in the group should be equal instead of Alex being leader all the time. This angers Alex and he accepts it and he asks where they should go to cause some violence.

The walk down a marina and Alex hears Beethoven through an open window and has a sudden impulse to beat up Georgie and Dim.

Alex tells his friends that him being leader is the way it should be and it should stay like that. Georgie and Dim come up with a plan to get rid of Alex by setting him up in a robbery to a to a house owned by a woman who owns tons of cats. Alex and the Cat Lady fight each other but Alex accidentally murders her with a bust of Beethoven. Alex leaves the house only to find out that Dim is waiting for him with a bike chain in his hand and slashes Alex's face with it and leaves him there for the police to arrive. Alex is now sent to prison.

Throughout Alex's time in prison (which he has a sentence for 14 years) he has to avoid crazy guards, murderers and perverts. He finds out about a special treatment (called the Ludovico Treatment) where it will make you perminantly good. Alex convinces a priest that he will become good no matter what and he accepts to take the treatment which will shorten his sentance from 14 years to 2 years. He is then transfered to another special prison.

On the first day of The Ludovico Treatment contained of injecting a serum where the doctors told Alex it was vitamins. Then they show Alex a series of films that are extremely violent and this somehow makes him incredibly sick. On the second day, he watches more and more violent films, with Beethoven playing in the background. Alex says that Beethoven never hurt anyone, all he did was make music. The doctors running the treatment kept on using Beethoven to their advantage. This treatment kept on going for another few weeks until they do a final test.

The final test was a hands-on experiment on a stage with an audience if the treatment actually worked. They first bring a man on the stage who pins Alex to the ground and forces him to lick his shoe. Alex tried to force him off but he just kept on feeling sick, so there was nothing he could do but lick his shoe in order for him to get off Alex. Next a naked woman walked onto the stage and Alex attempt to have his way with her but he started to feel sick again and trembled to the floor in pain. This showed that the Ludovico treatment actually works.

Alex finally goes home to his parents only to find out that he got kicked out and his parents have nothing to do with him anymore since they find out what he did to end up in prison.

While Alex is roaming the town trying to figure out what to do, he is approached by a homeless man asking for change. After Alex gives him some change, Alex recognizes him that he is the same homeless man that he once beat up that one night. The homeless man also recognizes Alex and he tells this to a mob of 10 other homeless people and all of them beat up Alex in the street. Two cops break up the fight and Alex looks up only to realize that the two cops were Dim and Billyboy. They take him in the middle of nowhere and almost beat him to death.

Alex barely makes it to a house, a tall man picks him up and takes him to the living room only to find out that the house is the writer's house from that same night. Alex recognizes the writer, Frank, but he doesn't recognize Alex since he was wearing a mask that night. Frank recognizes Alex from the newspapers and he calls him a "victim of society" because Frank thinks the Ludovico Treatment is ludicrous and takes care of him for the night. The next morning, Frank finds out that Alex is the man who raped his wife and made him paralized by sudden clues like Frank said he wanted his assistant to get the phone for him and Alex said he thought he didn't have a phone, which is what Frank's wife said that night to Alex when Alex tried to convince her to open the door. Frank gets people to try to help him but all he does is find out what makes Alex crack. Alex tells him that now everytime he listens to Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, he want to kill himself so he can die peacefully. The next morning, Alex wakes up locked inside of Frank's attic and Frank blasts Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Alex feels incredibly sick until he attempt to commit suicide by jumping out of the window.

Alex wakes up a few weeks later in a body cast and the Minister who ran the Ludovico Treatment is shocked to find this out. He tells Alex that he is earned a new government job from the rumors that the Ludovico Treatment is entirely inhumane. The Minister tells him that he has been "cured" which means that violence and Beethoven won't make him sick anymore and it's Alex's choice in free will to be a normal citizen or to do the things he did before. The Minister also told him that morality and life are based on the choices we make and future may lead lead to great or terrible things. He gives a final present to Alex by bringing in photographers and huge speakers blasting Beethoven and Alex is happy to be cured. He then daydreams of taking his razor and slicing up the faces of every single person in the world, and this makes him even more happy.

The Final Chapter contained of Alex's life a year later seeming repetitive and the things he's been doing seems boring to him now. He meet's his old friend, Pete, now married to a woman named Georgina (get it?), and his life has been going fine ever since he quit the gang life. Alex returns to his house to his son where he thinks finding a wife would be the best for his life. He learns that he shouldn't have become a gang leader in the first place. He regrets everything in his life.
