Freestyle skiing

Skiing down a steep, bump-laden hill. The bumps are known as moguls. Skiers earn points in a weighted system that accounts for the time taken to complete the course and the quality of the maneuvers executed during the run.

Ski cross involves Olympians racing against one another on a slope more suited to freestyle, which includes banks and jumps, as well as natural obstacles. Qualifications are timed, and the rest of competition is contested in heats of four.

One of the most dangerous sports at the Olympic competition. Skiers are required to wear helmets when jumping at heights of over 20 feet.

Slopestyle
