Recommendations
I would not recommend this book, because:
- The book was very short.
- But also the flooding from the tsunami took days to retreat not 30 minutes as it was in the book. (The books timeline is rushed and not accurate.)
- There was a lot of violence in the book, because so many people died from the tsunami.
Themes
- The theme of the story is survival for a boy during the tsunami.
- Basically, the whole I Survived series is about surviving a disaster.
- I feel tense for Ben when the tsunami happened.
