Tea Act of 1773

Granted the British East India Company control over the tea sales of American Colonies.

Townshend Act of 1767

This Act is what put customs on imports of glass, lead, paints, paper and tea.

Intolerable Acts of 1774

The Declatory Act

Molasses Act of 1733

The Declaratory Act was put in place so that the British Parliament had a right to make laws and the right to tax.

This is also known as the coercive act. This Act was made to prevent retaliation against the Boston Tea Party Act.

This Act was intended to protect the sugar plantations in the West Indies.

Currency Act of 1764

This act was put in place to be able to be in control of paper money in the colonial economy.

1765 Stamp Act

Tax imposed by the British government was what the Stamp Act implemented.

Currency Act of 1751

1765 Quartering Act

This made it so that colonies could not issue new bills. They also prohibited using silver and sterling as value for payments towards debt.

The Act states that required colonial assemblies to provide essential necessities to the british troops stationed in their towns.
