The Pacific Ocean Waters can reach a temperature between 81 degrees F and 86 degrees F. The Atlantic Ocean Waters can reach a temperature between 79 degrees F and 81 degrees F. The Pacific Ocean receives a lot of rain and bad weather such as waterspouts. A waterspout is a tornado but since it is over the ocean it is a tornado filled with water. The Atlantic Ocean has mild and moderate weather changes. The Pacific Ocean shares boarders with Japan, South Korea, United States and Canada. The Atlantic Ocean shares boarders with America, Europe and Africa. When you look at both Oceans from a distance they both look Dark blue. The Pacific Ocean has an average depth of 15,215ft. The Atlantic Ocean has an average depth of 10,950.

The Ocean Ecosystem is different from the Rain Forest and it has some similarities as well. First, the Pacific Ocean and the Rain Forest both have common precipitation of rain. Second, part of ocean doesn't get sunlight and same with the rain forest. Third, they both rely on plants and food. The differences are that the Ocean is an aquatic ecosystem and the Rain Forest is a Terrestrial ecosystem. Second, there are some different Biotic and Abiotic factors in the Rain Forest and the Ocean ecosystem. Third, both ecosystems are experiencing different dangers like the ocean has a lot of trash and the Rain Forest trees are being cut down for wood and other things. This is called deforestation.
There are many Biotic factors that call the ocean home. Fish, Sharks, Whales and dolphins, clown fish and angelfish are some examples of biotic factors. There are also many different kinds of abiotic factors. Examples of abiotic factors are kelp, seaweed, algae and sea grasses. Each of those Biotic factors has a niche. A shark's niche is that its a carnivore, it is active during the day, its predator is a killer whale and it lives in a reef. An angelfish's niche is that its an omnivore, it is active during the day, its predators are a shark, stingray and a sea anemone.

Animals and plants can adapt to their ecosystem to live. An example of a stingray's adaptation is that a stingray can camouflage in with the coral and the sand. He uses the adaptation to catch his prey and to hide from its predator. Plants adapt to there ecosystem by making sure they have enough sunlight and move to were they can be seen to be eaten so the plant doesn't become abundant.
Forty percent of the ocean waters have been affected negatively by human impact. We have polluted the waters by dumping trash, oil spills, and acid rain by the over the use of energy. People also hunt in different ways to make up the interdependent aquatic ecosystem. Some species, such as dolphin's are at the risk of being endangered. Endangered means a species of animals that could be nonexistent soon. People impact the ocean waters positively by planting trees and plants for all the biotic factors in the ocean ecosystem and we also help by picking up trash.
When plants and animals rely on each other it is called interdependence. An example of interdependence is if the fish didn't eat the seaweed then the seaweed will become abundant, so the seaweed relies for the fish to eat it and the fish relies on the seaweed for a reliable food source.
So in that situation the fish and the seaweed were showing interdependence. Biotic and Abiotic Factors interact together in a couple different ways. Another example is that a Biotic factor uses an Abiotic for a place to hide from its predator.
