Hello!

Thank You!!!

Thank you for listening!

Hello!

I am Rosie and today I will tell you about SCIENCE TOOLS.

Make it Clear!

-close, closer, closest

A hand lens magnifies objects like flowers and our hand.

A microscope magnifies objects that are too tiny to be seen with the eye alone. Its power is much greater than that of a hand lens or magnifying box.

Vocabulary!

1.microscope:a tool that makes an object look several times bigger than it is.

2.graduated cylinder:a container marked with a graded scale used for measuring liquids.

Measure It!

3.temperature:a measure of how hot or cold something is.

Measuring uses numbers to describe the world around you. There are several ways to measure and more than one tool or unit for each way.

-Length, Mass, and Volume

Mass is the amount of matter in an object. It is measured with a pan balance.Volume is the amount of space a solid, liquid, or gas takes up.

The volume of a liquid can be measured with a graduated cylinder or a measuring cup or spoon.
