Adult Eels
When they are older they form their fins. Then they
go out to the ocean and spawn and die.
Stage 1

Adult eels swim from their river or lake to the ocean. They swim till they are in the south pacific ocean and near Tonga. They spawn and the mothers have 1-20 million eggs. The adult eels die after spawning.

Glass eel
Glass eels form into the adult shape but stay see through. They are the same size as Leptocehali.

The eggs float to the surface and hatch. Then Laptocehali (Larvae) slowly follow the current back to shore. They are shaped like feathers and are see through.
Elvers are like miniture adult eels. They start to get the eel colour as it ages. Elvers mostly eat inscect larva,worms and water snails. When they are slightly older they eat small fish, crayfish and small birds such as ducklings.
