With a recent study of Madagascar, it appears 55% of the population go by traditional Madagascar beliefs, with 40% being christians and the last 5% are muslims. The Christianity part of Madagascar are Roman Catholic.

Madagascar is a huge island off the southeast coast of Africa. Madagascar is home to THOUSANDS of exotic animal species, including fossas, flying foxs, bats, blue couas, pill millipedes and lemurs. Lemurs are found nowhere else in the world and are highly endangered, being one of the most rare mammals in the world. They are nicknamed "Angel of the forest" because of their white fur, However, they can also be brown, black, and tan. Madagascar is also home to several types of tropical forests and jungles, with sandy forest floors and elevations up to 656 ft!

Madagascar is home to over 25,612,972 People as of January 2017. Thats alot of families! for comparison, Canada's Population is 36,626,083, yet Madagascar is less than quarter the size of Canada! The capital of Madagascar is the city of Antananarivo.

Madagascar is the 131st largest export country in the world, with their top two exports being Raw nickel and vanilla. However, they also export coffee, sugar, shellfish, and gemstones. In 2002 39% of the exports went to France, 20% to the United States, and 5.5% went to Germany, along with fewer numbers to to other countries. In 2003 Madagascar's Exports were worth 700 Million, yet the county's trade deficit was around $220 million. Despite such an amount of exports, Madagascar's dollar is very low, with one malagasy ariary being worth 0.00030 of a US Dollar.

Because Madagascar is close to the equator, they get very warm weather. Madagascar has two seasons: a hot, rainy season from November to April; and a cooler, dry season from May to October. Antananarivo receives practically all of Madagacr's average annual 1.4 meters of rainfall between November and April. The dry season is pleasant and sunny, although somewhat cold and chilly, especially in the mornings. Although frosts and light snow are rare in Antananarivo, they are common at higher elevations. During this time, the blue skies of the central highlands around Antananarivo are considered to be among the clearest and most beautiful in the world. A major event in Madagascar is Cyclone Favio in 2007. More than 140 000 people were displaced, However, despite its severity, the cyclone claimed very few lives

Madagascar uses the Semi-presidential system, with their current prime minister being Hery Rajaonarimampianina. Hery Rajaonarimampianina was born November 6, 1958 and is currently age 58. He was elected as prime minister in 2014 and has been the prime micistor ever since.

Ibrahim Amada is a famous Malagasy football player who plays for ES Sétif in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 in Madagascar. He was born Femuray 28th 1990 in the city of Antananarivo, and is currently 26 years old. He is 5"7 and weighs 156 Pounds. He joined football in 2008
