The theme I chose is that death is an inevitable part of life that cannot be escaped.

There is one bitter sweet truth to the world
There is no escaping death.
No matter how hard one tries
There is no escape
to the ever-present,
looming, reality that we will all die.
This constant drives some people mad
worrying about it,
Others embrace it.
Live life to what they believe the fullest
so when they die, they can be satisfied.
Some people choose not to think about the invisible clock
ever slowly ticking down till when they die.
After all, everyone has a coping mechanism.
Everyone finds the thought of not waking up one day unsettling.
The possibilities of what could happen?
How it could happen?
What happens once you die?
People spend their whole lives thinking of what happens to them when they die.
Is there an afterlife?
What might it be like?
Some get consumed
So focused on the fears and avoidance,
The what ifs and afterlife
They do not live their current life.
Others choose to think that this is not all just one big trial
Before a final judgment is cast upon us for the afterlife.
No matter your thoughts, there is one constant
one day you will die and there is no escaping that.
Tick tock, tick tock,
goes the clock
Slowly counting down till the end.
Everything you do to try to keep ticking
To never stop, does not work.
You can only hope to keep it going a little longer but never preserve it forever.
Tick tock, tick tock
Life is like a clock.
Eventually, it will come to a stop.
There will be an end to its function.
You may delay it, but you cannot stop it.
Tick tock, tick tock
goes the clock.
Counting away, till its last day
Eventually, the clock no longer goes tick tock.

Hyperbole is used "speeding train" most peoples death's aren't coming at them hundred of miles an hour
Onomatopoeia is used
Death is a persistent cat hunting a mouse.
Unfortunately, you’re the mouse.
No matter what you do
There is no escape.
It is patient, willing to wait for the perfect moment to attack.
You will be caught eventually.
All you can do is hide to give yourself more time.
No one want to think about their death
Oncoming as quickly a speeding train
Everyone arriving at the same destination
Some just have a different journey then others to get there
Crashing down in loud booms or... maybe...
Almost unheard or unnoticed
Proud and content
Everyone has their own method.

Death
Here and Now
Death is a seesaw of emotions, while facing your own mortality.
Emotions running rampant,
Anger at leaving the world and your life behind .
Terrified of the unknown that lies ahead, the unanswered questions
How will it happen and when will it come for you?
In the end there is one certain thing,
Now is all we know.
Everything else that comes after, is pure speculation. No one knows.
Very possibly, there could be much more, or maybe this is it.
In the end all we know for sure is that the harmonious madness that we live in today is real
To some, this time is to prepare for the afterlife
All the while others choose to believe that this is it and live for the now like there won’t be anything else
Because everyone is different and finds comfort in their own methodology
Like anything, it’s a highly debated topic
Everything comes back to the one certain thing , we have the present to live our lives.
