These are 1930 posters providing information for Baird's London Coliseum performances.

Both of these primary sources show the importance of John Logie Baird and his television.

It is just a basic

line, but at that time, something like this had never been done.

The efforts of John Logie

Baird, Philo Farnsworth, and Vladimir Zworykin all made the invention

of the television significant in

the 1920s.

Today, the television is a

main source of entertainment in the majority of households.

Without these men, the television would not be where it is today.
