Limits

How was math used in the movie Mean Girls?

In mathematics, a limit is the value that a function or sequence "approaches" as the input or index approaches some value. Limits are essential to calculus and are used to define continuity, derivatives, integrals.

Math was used as one of the classes in the movie and also to showcase the love and gift Cady has for mathematics.

Directed by: Mark Waters.

Stars: Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert.

Release Date: April 30, 2004.

Genre: Comedy, Teen Film

If you substitute O then the fraction is the indeterminate form O/O.

When x approaches O from positive values, the function goes to negative infinity, and when x approaches O from negative values the function goes to positive infinity.

So, the limit does not exist.
