Defeating the devil’s control over fear
- Jesus is a private tutor who intensively trains his troops
- He can only use those who keep in communication with Him
- Do we trust His coaching decisions?
1 Corinthians 12:18 "But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased."
Hebrews 12:1-2 "...let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..."

- A Church family is a great place to recruit back-up support
- Trust takes time to be established
- Valuable concepts are learned through repetition
Where is your first Mission field?

- Learn to feed the multitude and clothe the naked that they might know His love
- It is our hands He wants to use, therefore we must learn to use them well
Pass the truth on through testifying, teaching, writing, and leading
Many will never come to a place of healing unless we go to them with an invitation
Meet practical needs
- A word of encouragement
- A compassionate smile
- A friendly greeting
- A met need
1 Peter 3:15 "...always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear"
Short-term mission trips?
The long-term missionary in a 3rd world country will never become rich
The daily bread of most missionaries is dependent upon the faithful support of Christians back home
Rarely do the supporters in the pews understand the struggles of those on the field
Gain a new perspective and expectations will become more realistic
God's team is made up of individuals who feel the same apprehension that you feel.
Jesus compensates for what we are lacking with His Grace and Mercy
We compliment each other’s weaknesses with our individual strengths
Don’t stay isolated on the sidelines

Fulfill your destiny: Don’t do anything less than what He has called you to do!
