After the War he moved to Glastonbury. There he participated in Politics and Medical Practices.

He also served as Justice of

the Peace for Hartford County.

  • Graduated From Harvard Collage in 1655
  • Doctor, Minister, and Alchemist of Wethersfield & Glastonbury. Both are towns in Connecticut.
  • During the King Philip's War he was a Sergon and Champlain to the Troops of Connecticut. During The King Philip's War he was wounded in the thigh.

“Bulkeley married Sarah Chauncy, daughter of the well-known minister Charles Chauncy.”

Between the years of 1660-1679, Gershom and Sarah had 2 daughters and 4 sons.

Sarah died June 3, 1699 in Wethersfield, Connecticut.

Both Gershom and Sarah were buried at the Wethersfield Village Cemetery, in Connecticut.
