How do I start?

Your teachers will explain what to do, but for now, just go onto www.code.org to find more information, tutorials, stats and much more. Remember, an Hour of Code is to teach you computer sciences. Learning this could change your life.

Like most games, in the beginning, all games's tutorials are easy, because you are just learning what to do. But as the games progress, the challenges become more and more difficult. This program is designed to keep the interest of ALL the players. Would you really want to play a game that is so simple, and you don't learn anything or enjoy it? This quote says it all, ''Anyone can learn the basics, and have fun doing it!''

What do I do?

After you sign up, and create your account, you can immediatly begin to learn the tutorials of how to code. Or, you can just visit the website and try easy tutorials. This includes creating and playing games using code. the easy-to-follow tutorials give you a step by step process which will help you to understand the fundamentals of how to code. Also, remember to bring your headphones or earbuds for the video tutorials.

On December 8-14, 2014, Code.org has an annual Hour of Code.The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics of coding. Learn how to create many games, like your own Flappy Bird. And, during these processes, you will be taught by some of your favourite fictional characters, and real life people, like Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, the Angry Birds and even some Plants v.s Zombies.
