The advantages of becoming a Marine far exceed a simple list of benefits supported by the Marine Corps Tangible benefits include financial resources, family healthcare and insurance, housing and facilities, education, travel, vacation, and recreation.

Every Marine has the opportunity Earning a salary while you train and serve allows you to become self-sufficient and to provide for your family.

Service members in pay grades E-1 through E-3 are usually either in

some kind of training status or on their initial assignment.

All officers must have a degree from an accredited, four-year college or university before earning their commission.

E-1 earns $1,379 a month, or $16,548 a year after the four months she rises to the standard E-1 level of $1,491 a month, or $17,892 a year
