His Life...
Born in 1926 in Preveza, Greece
- His father owned a textile shop.
- His family was of Romaniot descent.
- He recieved a religious education.
- He loved sports such as soccer and baseball.
- All the jews in Preveza, Greece were deported to Aushwitz in Poland.
- He was deported in March 1944.
- He took work in Birkenau part of the Sonderkommando
- October 7, 1944, Sonderkommando workers in crematorium IV revolted.
- Disarming SS guards and blowing up the crematorium.
- Joseph ended up dying in Birkenau in October 1944.
- He was just 18
This whole project has helped me to know this person because I know he used to have a life, he used to do things, he used to be happy. Before the holocaust he was a man of freedom, a man who got to do stuff. I've learned that i shouldnt be giving my life up, eventhough i know someone didnt get to have one.
