Microbiology Case Study

By: Taylin Adams and Rochelle Flores

Ken B. Pleasant

The Problem

Karen works a lot, leaving Ken in Riley's care. One day Ken started having diarrhea and was fussing during urination.

Karen had the next day off work and got to spend some time with Ken. That's when she noticed how uncomfortable he seemed to be. Riley noticed it too.

Karen takes Ken to the doctor's office and explains the situation. Dr. Petie A. Tricks suspects that Ken may have a UTI. They perform a clean catch and send the urine to the lab for testing.
