Simplest form is when you cant make a number on the top and the bottom.the simpelest fractions are 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, and 1.
EX: 2/6 = 1/3
Equivelent Fractions
Eqivelent fractions are fractions that can equle the same thing but are dfferent fractions. For example, 1/2 is equle to 12/6 .

Lets talk about adding and subtracting fractions first. Adding fractions is simmple and you add fractions by adding the numeratores and put the denominatores as your denominator for theanswer.
Subtracting fractions is flip and if you have 4/5 - 3/5 the answer is 1/2.
UT OH Improper Fractions
If you thought mixed fractions was over the top, you need to go to Mrs.Wilsons class because we are going to see inproaper fractions!!! Inproaper fractions are when the number on the bottom is less than the nnumber on the top For instince, 9/4 plus 5/4 ,thoes are inproaper and the way to make them proaper is by finding the whole number(s) the fraction or what Mrs.Wilson calls Dolly Parton.

Mixed fractions are the wholes and fractions or partsof a whole.
Did you know that if you want to add 4 and 3/5 by 3 and4/5 you can
separate it the whole and the fractions and add them seapretaly and add them at the end.The answer is 8 and 2/5.
