Some female-to-male transgender people can become pregnant, while still identifying as men. This is possible for individuals who still have functioning ovaries and a uterus.

Some people decide to physically change their bodies through surgery or taking hormones to match the gender they feel they really are. Physically becoming the opposite gender can be a long, complicated, and expensive process. Not everyone decides to get surgery or hormones, though. Some transgender people are most comfortable keeping their physical anatomy but dressing as the opposite gender.

Male born people do not have the anatomy needed for natural embryonic and fetal development. Today, there are no successful cases regarding uterus transplant concerning a trans woman or a male.

Availability of these procedures depends on degree of gender dysphoria, presence or absence of gender identity disorder, and standards of care in the relevant jurisdiction. The word transgender doesn't only mean that a person identifies with the opposite gender. It also can be used by people who don't feel like they're either completely male or completely female.

The theoretical issue of ectopic pregnancy the pregnancy outside the uterine cavity by implantation in biological males has been addressed by experts in the field of fertility medicine, who stress that the concept of ectopic implantation, while theoretically plausible, has never been attempted and would be difficult to justify even for women lacking a uterus owing to the extreme health risks to both the parent and child.

Why do people experience same-sex attraction?

People who identify as transgender or transsexual are people who are born with typical male or female anatomies but feel as though they’ve been born into the “wrong body.”

The most common terms for homosexual people are lesbian for females and gay for males, though gay is also used to refer generally to both homosexual males and females.

Many health experts believe that being transgender isn't caused by one single thing. They believe it's the result of a complex mixture of biology, psychology, and environmental factors and not simply a matter of choice.

The number of people who identify as gay or lesbian and the proportion of people who have same-sex sexual experiences are difficult for researchers to estimate reliably for a variety of reasons, including many gay people not openly identifying as such due to homophobia and heterosexist discrimination.

Pros and Cons of being a Transgender

Medical and surgical procedures exist for transsexual and some transgender people. Men induce beard growth and masculine skin, hair, voice, and fat distribution. Hormone replacement therapy for women are fat distribution and breasts. Laser hair removal or electrolysis removes excess hair. Surgical procedures for trans women feminize the voice, skin, face, adams apple, breasts, waist, buttocks and genitals. Surgical procedures for trans men masculine the chest and genitals and remove the womb and ovaries and fallopian tubes.

Others believe that some people are gay because they chose to be gay. For most gay people, this is not true. They did not wake up one morning and say to themselves, "Well, so far in my life I've been straight; from now on I think I am going to be gay." The direction of our attractions is not something that we can quickly change, like switching a light on and off.
