Wind

Energy

We all know wind as the air that makes trees blow, windmills spin, hats fly off our heads, and tornadoes that can kill us... however, today, we shall discuss how the wind can assist us, compared to making our day a pain in the rear.

Wind is not something we can see, however, the old "see it to believe it" term cannot be affected in with wind. Wind may not be seen, however, it can help create things that we indeed can see. such as the screen you are focused on now for example. That's right, wind can be used to create Edison's miracle, electricity. How? you ask, lets find out.

The energy:

ok, before we get down to the very intense detail, first, we have to discover what transference of energy that wind can create.

Now, the ideal way to use wind is: you guessed it, windmills, or in a sciency way, turbines.

most of the time that we think of windmills, we think of the big spinny blades on a tower. As accurate as this claim may be, the blades are there for more then just show. Wind is also a renewable energy source, meaning you can use it again, and again, and again.

The law of conservation of energy plays important roll in the wind power as well. it states that energy is not destroyed, nor created, but transferred into another energy, in wind's case, the mechanical energy does not go anywhere and the electrical energy does not come out of the dust, instead, the mechanical energy transforms itself into electrical energy.

As we have seen, wind in science can be used in a strong variety of ways. it is very helpful because it helps us use electrical energy to use computers, lights, and soon, even electric cars.

The law of conservation of energy makes a big appearence with the power of wind, because no energy is gained, or lost, just transferred. and that is my presentation on wind power.

Thank you for your attention!

And one more thing...

Conclusion

Wind in science

Energized

windmills have the spinny blades for a reason. The blades spin off of the wind power, the faster the wind, the more electricity that you receive. although that the spinning blades results in mechanical energy. the nacelle, an electrical component of parts in the top of thr turbine, uses power from the mechanical energy, and sends it to the bottom of the turbine, a generator, where the mechanical enrgy is then transferred into electrical power
