Flour, eggs, a fat, sugar, salt, a Chemical leavener, and a liquid are the 7 ingredients necessary to make a quick bread. The flour and eggs are strengtheners. The fat and liquid makes the quick bread moist, adds flavor, and keeps the baked items fresh longer. The sugar adds color and flavor. The Chemical leavener allows the dough/batter to rise.

1. Creaming Method- you cream together fat and sugar
2. Straight-dough Method- combine all the ingredients and blend them intot he batter all at once
3. Muffin Method- Combine all the wet ingredients then separately combine the dry ingredients then pour the wet ingredients into the dry and combine thoroughly
