EXPEDIA REWARDS

Managing Your Account

How do I earn Expedia Points on Expedia?

How to check my Expedia Point balance?

  • To check your Expedia Point balance, click the "My Account" link on Expedia.com, and then the "Rewards Summary" link. You'll be able to view all pending Expedia Points for travel booked but not completed, as well as available Expedia Points. Expedia Points are moved from pending to available status 30 days after travel is complete.
  • Your Expedia Rewards ID is a 12-digit identification number that you receive when you enroll in Expedia Rewards. You can find this number on your Rewards Summary within "My Account".
  • As long as you are signed in to your enrolled Expedia account prior to making the eligible booking, your Expedia Rewards ID is already attached to the booking and you will earn Expedia Points on the trip.
  • Only the Expedia Rewards Member making the eligible booking may earn Expedia Points for an itinerary, regardless of the number of travelers.
  • To earn points, customers must have a valid Rewards account, have not opted out of the program, and be signed in to their Expedia account at time of booking.
  • Points for travel reflect as pending after booking. Points post to the customer's Rewards account about 30 days after travel is completed.
  • Most bonus points are added 4-6 weeks after travel is completed and do not reflect as pending. See the terms of the promotion to determine when bonus points will be credited.
  • Changes to the itinerary may affect the number of points that post.
  • Questions on earning Expedia Points are handled by Tier 1 Service and Telesales agents.
  • Transfer customers with earn-related escalations to Tier 2. This includes who insist on being awarded points even though they do not meet criteria Telesales agents should follow normal escalation procedures.

How long will it take for Points to be reflected on my Rewards Summary?

REMINDER!

  • Expedia Points will show as "pending" on your Rewards Summary within 30 minutes of making an eligible booking. Points move from "pending" to "available" status 30 days after travel is complete.
  • Standalone car rentals and cruises don't qualify for Expedia Points.
  • You must be enrolled in Expedia Rewards prior to booking your eligible travel in order to earn Expedia Points on your trip.
