SUPERHEROES!!

The US stock market crashes; plunging America into the "Great Depression". Hardly anybody can find a job, and hardly anyone has money.

World War 1 starts. Goes through 1914 to 1918. Also called the "Great War".

Ingalls family moves to Burr Oak, IA, to run the Masters Hotel. The first successful lightbulb is made. It made a HUGE impact on the US. We didn't need to use lamps anymore!! Yeah! Thomas Edison made the lightbulb. He's definitely a genius! That same year, the family moved (again) to the Surveyor's House.

Atlas Comics becomes MARVEL Comics. MARVEL was made by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko. Stan Lee is still alive today; making appearances in many MARVEL movies such as Big Hero 6 (wait until the end of the credits, people) and Spider-Man. Here's a whole new generation of SUPERHEROES!!!!
