In an effort to work towards responsibility, please do not bring your child’s forgotten homework to school. Students will not receive credit for work brought to school by a parent.
Drop off any items (lunch, coat, etc) that your child needs at the office to avoid interruptions in the learning process.
Dropping off Items
Wednesday, November 9 - Friday, November 11
Tuition is $145
Optional Parent Meeting: Oct. 13th, 3:00-3:30 in Mrs. Hudgins’ room
We will need volunteers to:
help organize luggage the morning of and when we return
a few dads to chaperone at night only
Please send your child to school with a water bottle. Plain water only, please.
Healthy, protein, low-sugar snacks are preferred.
All classrooms are Nut-free!!
Please save birthday treats for home.
Invitations need to be mailed from home. Students will not be allowed to pass out invitations at school unless the entire homeroom is invited.
No more than 1 hour for 5th grade, per district policy per evening. We feel homework should have meaning and not just given out to fill a time requirement.
Any student may opt to retake/correct
(per teacher directions) a test to earn half credit per question. We value the learning process and want to see our students succeed.
Mail and graded work can be found weekly in the folders.
Please remove items placed in Thursday folders
Most school info will be electronic.
7:20 – gates unlock and students report to
7:35 – bell rings, students to Specials
7:40 – tardy bell rings; tardy students must get a
slip from the office before reporting to Specials
2:41 - end of school day
Focused Instructional Time
Monday through Thursday 8:25-9:05
Programs such as GT, PT, OT, ESL, Speech, and RTI will be held during this time.
Our planning times are Monday through Wednesday from 7:35-8:25. We are in meetings Thursday/Friday.

Assignments and homework are posted on each teacher's website daily.

At home, you may review their assignment notebook or visit our websites.
Parents may check grades on Skyward. Please understand an assignment may appear blank because the teacher has not finished entering grades for all students.
If an assignment is truly missing, incomplete, or late, the teacher will make a

Please enter your transportation changes in the School Dismissal Manager every time your child is going home differently than usual. Changes include Community Ed classes.
Absences can also be entered in SDM for Charlotte Burke, registrar.
The nurse from BPE will attend with us.
