They had done bad to him, but God worked it

out for good.

Joseph was kind to his brothers, even though they had

mistreated him so badly When he was young, he forgave

them and he gave them food.

You see, God took care of Jacob's family and saw

to it that they had food to eat.

God worked all things out for good, so he wasn't

mad at his brother's anymore.

He wasn't trying to get revenge because God was good.

We love because God first loved us when Jesus died

for us, he forgave all of our sins.

Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass

He gives daily bread to everyone, even to all evil

people. He helps us then to love others and forgive

others. Dear God, our father You gave Joseph the faith

to believe that you were doing good things for him.

Even when it looked like everything was bad with Jesus

on the cross, we believe you were doing good for

us even though it looked bad that Jesus had to

die. Help us to trust you in all times and

then be good to others as you have been good

to us in Jesus' name.
