All right, everyone module eight you made it, you'll notice
- 00:04 - 00:07
that in this module there are no resources for you
- 00:07 - 00:08
to draw from.
- 00:08 - 00:11
That's because the goal of this module is just to
- 00:11 - 00:14
compile all the learning that you've had thus far within
- 00:14 - 00:14
the course.
- 00:15 - 00:16
So if you need to go back, feel free to
- 00:16 - 00:19
go back and check out other resources, but only as
- 00:19 - 00:23
a strategy to help you further understand and develop the
- 00:23 - 00:23
final project.
- 00:24 - 00:26
And so let's jump into the goal of this module
- 00:27 - 00:28
as it relates to the final project.
- 00:29 - 00:30
The goal of this module is really for you to
- 00:31 - 00:34
complete and turn in your journey map, which should be
- 00:34 - 00:37
again, the compilation of all the different learning experiences that
- 00:37 - 00:39
you've experienced in this asynchronous course.
- 00:40 - 00:44
So the rubric which is linked in the syllabus will
- 00:44 - 00:47
be a really important tool for you to really understand
- 00:48 - 00:50
what the non negotiables are, what the core components are
- 00:51 - 00:52
to this final project.
- 00:52 - 00:55
But let's jump in at a high level to look
- 00:55 - 00:57
at what some of those core components are.
- 00:58 - 01:02
The first of the success criteria for this module for
- 01:02 - 01:05
this final project is first for you to share where
- 01:05 - 01:09
you've been, share the highs and lows of previous seasons
- 01:09 - 01:13
of teaching, learning and leadership and what you learned from
- 01:14 - 01:16
those highs and lows what you learn from those experiences.
- 01:17 - 01:21
The second kind of core element, the success criteria is
- 01:21 - 01:24
show your goal for the next season of teaching and
- 01:24 - 01:26
learning. What what are you hoping to grow, where the
- 01:27 - 01:28
spaces that you want to get better.
- 01:28 - 01:31
Either individually or that you want to push on the
- 01:31 - 01:34
system to get better in or both, just as an
- 01:34 - 01:35
encouragement to you.
- 01:36 - 01:40
And then the final portion of the final project is
- 01:40 - 01:44
to share your strategies, share the ongoing data collection that
- 01:44 - 01:47
you're going to do, think about the communities that you're
- 01:47 - 01:50
going to be a part of in service of this
- 01:50 - 01:53
goal and in service of honestly your sanity because being
- 01:53 - 01:58
the community really hopes uh with staying grounded and staying
- 01:59 - 02:02
connected in the work and so those three elements, those
- 02:02 - 02:05
three components or what I'll be looking for as I
- 02:05 - 02:07
review different projects for those of you that are submitting
- 02:07 - 02:10
a project for course credit and for those of you
- 02:10 - 02:13
that are just taking this course for yourself, Pay extra
- 02:14 - 02:17
close attention to the rubric because that will inform you
- 02:17 - 02:21
with like ways to really maximize your learning from this
- 02:22 - 02:23
project as with everything.
- 02:23 - 02:27
I don't care how you uh communicate this to me
- 02:27 - 02:30
or communicate this to the group or whether you communicated
- 02:30 - 02:32
to anyone, it's really up to you.
- 02:33 - 02:35
So you can write it out, you can record a
- 02:35 - 02:37
video, you could do with some sort of slide deck,
- 02:37 - 02:40
you could create an infographic if you want to create
- 02:40 - 02:43
a true real life map of your learning journey, all
- 02:44 - 02:45
of that is there for you or if you want
- 02:45 - 02:47
to dream of something that I have never thought of
- 02:47 - 02:50
before. That is awesome to just refer back to the
- 02:51 - 02:53
rubric to stay grounded in those core elements.
- 02:53 - 02:57
But I have so appreciated the course, so appreciated you
- 02:57 - 03:00
all and your willingness to engage and move through each
- 03:00 - 03:02
of the modules and I hope it really was meaningful
- 03:03 - 03:03
for you.
- 03:03 - 03:06
Please provide feedback to us so that we can know
- 03:07 - 03:08
how to make this course even better.
- 03:08 - 03:11
But again, so appreciate you and so glad that you
- 03:11 - 03:13
are diving into this with us.
