Hello on my name's behalf Ege.
- 00:02 - 00:05
And today I will be talking about my hero and
- 00:05 - 00:05
her journey.
- 00:06 - 00:07
My hero is my mom.
- 00:08 - 00:11
Step one of her journey was her call to adventure.
- 00:13 - 00:16
My mom's adventure was becoming a special education teacher.
- 00:17 - 00:21
Her schooling was online on late nights with two kids
- 00:21 - 00:22
at home.
- 00:24 - 00:26
The advice that she was told was to follow her
- 00:27 - 00:30
heart, trust your instincts and that will lead her to
- 00:30 - 00:30
the right to positions.
- 00:32 - 00:34
The people that just got her back and be like
- 00:34 - 00:36
you ever Feedback told her that she would fail and
- 00:36 - 00:38
she was crazy at the job was too difficult.
- 00:41 - 00:45
Step two of her journey Waas that crossing to special.
- 00:47 - 00:49
She had to leave behind, and everyone told her that
- 00:50 - 00:52
she wouldn't make it, and she had to follow her.
- 00:55 - 00:58
Um, in her first year of teaching at the beginning
- 00:59 - 01:02
of the year, her staff in her costume quit, and
- 01:02 - 01:04
she had to find a new staff and work extra
- 01:04 - 01:09
hard to keep our custom going and to keep her
- 01:11 - 01:12
students happy.
- 01:14 - 01:16
Step three is a challenges and temptations.
- 01:17 - 01:23
Her first challenge was that her staff quit, Um, another
- 01:23 - 01:26
challenge that she had overcome was that she didn't have
- 01:27 - 01:29
any material or past lessons that she could rely on
- 01:30 - 01:31
from last year.
- 01:31 - 01:32
It was her first year teaching.
- 01:33 - 01:37
She had to work every single day, um, to create
- 01:37 - 01:39
new material for her students.
- 01:41 - 01:43
And the last challenge that she had to go through
- 01:43 - 01:48
was the lack of qualified stuff in her class that
- 01:51 - 01:52
I could help our kids.
- 01:55 - 01:56
Step four is the relation.
- 01:58 - 02:02
Uh, the lowest point on her journey was when her
- 02:02 - 02:02
stuff quit.
- 02:03 - 02:06
She felt like she didn't, uh she wasn't qualified to
- 02:06 - 02:07
do her job, and she felt like quitting.
- 02:10 - 02:13
But, um, 46 weeks into her job, a mentor teacher
- 02:14 - 02:16
gave her a really good advice and helped her for
- 02:16 - 02:21
the rest of the year, and that really helped her
- 02:21 - 02:23
and push her to become the needed better teacher when
- 02:24 - 02:24
she felt like quitting.
- 02:27 - 02:30
Set five is transformation in Atonement.
- 02:33 - 02:35
Um, throughout her journey, she felt that she grew stronger
- 02:36 - 02:39
through every experience and gained confidence in her job throughout
- 02:39 - 02:39
the year.
- 02:41 - 02:43
But she did have to ask forgiveness from staff from
- 02:44 - 02:47
the school from the administration and that anyone she hurted
- 02:47 - 02:52
her journey substances who returned home.
- 02:53 - 02:57
Um This was an adventure of her becoming and getting
- 02:58 - 02:59
through the first year of teaching.
- 03:00 - 03:03
Um, she thinks that that is the hardest year, and
- 03:03 - 03:04
that will be the hardest year of her teaching.
- 03:06 - 03:07
But her journey's continuous.
- 03:08 - 03:09
She will continue.
- 03:10 - 03:14
Uh, we'll continue teaching and she will continue adventuring.
- 03:16 - 03:19
Um, she learned to believe in herself and that limitations
- 03:20 - 03:22
are what you tell yourself that you could do anything
- 03:23 - 03:27
you want even when people are putting you down It
- 03:27 - 03:28
saying that you can't do it.
- 03:30 - 03:32
That is the venture that my mom is withdrew.
- 03:33 - 03:35
She is my hero and thank you.
