Good morning my friends and welcome to today's
- 00:04 - 00:07
Mindful morning It is thursday and we are
- 00:07 - 00:11
yet again practicing our mindfulness activities so that
- 00:11 - 00:13
we can get ready for the day.
- 00:13 - 00:17
We can notice how our bodies are feeling and we can
- 00:17 - 00:20
be prepared to make the best choices we can today.
- 00:21 - 00:24
So for today's mindfulness activity is you see I
- 00:24 - 00:28
have my large mood meter right behind me.
- 00:29 - 00:34
There's that mini version and there is our large mood meter.
- 00:34 - 00:39
So to be present in today's moment in this moment.
- 00:39 - 00:41
Right now I'd like you to look over at the
- 00:41 - 00:45
mood meter and kind of notice where you're feeling friends.
- 00:46 - 00:48
The camera's moving a lot. I will posit
- 00:50 - 00:52
notice where you're feeling.
- 00:54 - 00:56
Where do you feel it on your body?
- 00:58 - 00:59
If you're feeling calm,
- 01:01 - 01:02
Does that mean your heart
- 01:02 - 01:04
is beating slow
- 01:05 - 01:06
and your body has come,
- 01:07 - 01:08
are you in the red?
- 01:09 - 01:12
And do your hands feel hot? Or does your head feel upset?
- 01:13 - 01:15
Are you in the blue?
- 01:16 - 01:17
And does your heart feel heavy
- 01:18 - 01:20
or your head feels like it's tight.
- 01:23 - 01:24
Notice how you're feeling
- 01:25 - 01:29
and notice where is your body telling you that you feel it
- 01:31 - 01:31
in your head?
- 01:32 - 01:33
Your heart
- 01:34 - 01:36
or your whole body?
- 01:42 - 01:42
Mm hmm.
- 01:44 - 01:46
Maybe we feel a mixture of
- 01:46 - 01:47
different ones.
- 01:48 - 01:49
Because that's okay
- 01:49 - 01:52
to feel different ones on our mood meter.
- 01:54 - 01:56
We can be feeling a lot of things
- 01:57 - 02:01
but guess what we decide if we want to stay in that area or if we want to move away.
- 02:02 - 02:07
So if you want to stay or if you want to move away. Friends, what can you do?
- 02:08 - 02:09
For example,
- 02:10 - 02:11
we can take our deep breaths,
- 02:13 - 02:14
mm hmm.
- 02:14 - 02:16
We can be counting
- 02:17 - 02:19
until our body remains calm.
- 02:21 - 02:23
We can say still
- 02:23 - 02:25
and just look around us
- 02:26 - 02:27
and notice different things.
- 02:28 - 02:30
Things we have not noticed before.
- 02:32 - 02:33
But in order to move on
- 02:33 - 02:37
from one of these areas first we have to notice where we are.
- 02:37 - 02:40
We have to notice where we're feeling in our body
- 02:40 - 02:42
and then we decide what we can do
- 02:42 - 02:43
so that we can move.
- 02:45 - 02:48
So thank you for joining me on that mindfulness activity. Friends,
- 02:48 - 02:51
let's move on to our affirmations.
- 02:52 - 02:54
Go ahead and repeat after me. Friends.
- 02:55 - 02:56
I can
- 02:56 - 02:58
forgive others.
- 02:59 - 03:00
I can forgive others.
- 03:02 - 03:05
I can forgive myself.
- 03:06 - 03:07
I can
- 03:07 - 03:08
forgive myself.
- 03:10 - 03:12

- 03:15 - 03:17
I can let go of the past.
- 03:19 - 03:20
I can let go of the past.
- 03:22 - 03:24
