Hello Friends and happy Tuesday.
- 00:04 - 00:08
Welcome to Today's Mindful mornings where we are practicing mindfulness
- 00:09 - 00:12
and mindfulness means being fully here
- 00:12 - 00:15
and focusing on where we are right now
- 00:15 - 00:20
paying attention to our body, our feelings and our thoughts,
- 00:20 - 00:22
mindfulness helps us in many ways.
- 00:23 - 00:26
It even helps us make less mistakes.
- 00:27 - 00:32
Now a story of Miss Lopez is I used to be super super, super clumsy.
- 00:32 - 00:39
I still kind of am, I would end up with so many bruises, I would spill my drinks,
- 00:39 - 00:44
I would crash into things and move things around
- 00:44 - 00:46
because I was not being mindful.
- 00:47 - 00:51
So now that I've been practicing mindfulness for so long,
- 00:51 - 00:53
I don't spill my strengths as much.
- 00:53 - 00:56
I don't have as many bruises and I make
- 00:56 - 01:00
more friends because I'm careful with what I say
- 01:01 - 01:04
and all of that is brought by mindfulness.
- 01:05 - 01:08
So for our mindfulness activity for today Friends,
- 01:08 - 01:11
I'd like to teach you all about Arkham spots.
- 01:12 - 01:13
So what you're going to do
- 01:13 - 01:19
is whenever you're feeling frustrated or angry or irritated or
- 01:19 - 01:21
like you do not have control of your body,
- 01:21 - 01:26
you have all these anger spots or frustration spots,
- 01:27 - 01:28
but you also have the power
- 01:29 - 01:30
to change these
- 01:31 - 01:32
to a peaceful spot.
- 01:32 - 01:34
So what you're going to do
- 01:35 - 01:37
is go ahead and stick out your hand
- 01:38 - 01:41
and imagine you have all those red spots
- 01:41 - 01:42
on your fingers
- 01:43 - 01:44
and you have that peaceful spot.
- 01:45 - 01:47
So it could be either hand
- 01:48 - 01:49
and what you're going to do
- 01:50 - 01:51
is slowly count
- 01:51 - 01:53
as you tap each finger,
- 01:54 - 01:54
Top one,
- 01:55 - 01:56
two,
- 01:57 - 01:57
three,
- 01:58 - 01:58
four.
- 01:59 - 02:05
And you can imagine that some of this green spot. This kind small, peaceful spot
- 02:06 - 02:07
is transferring
- 02:08 - 02:09
onto that red
- 02:09 - 02:11
and slowly turning it green.
- 02:12 - 02:12
So top
- 02:13 - 02:13
tap.
- 02:16 - 02:19
And then what you're gonna do is fill your lungs with air
- 02:20 - 02:23
and blow on those spots with love and care.
- 02:27 - 02:28
So we try that again.
- 02:29 - 02:29
Top
- 02:31 - 02:31
top,
- 02:31 - 02:32
top
- 02:32 - 02:34
1234
- 02:38 - 02:40
and that will help calm your body.
- 02:40 - 02:42
Turn those anger spots
- 02:42 - 02:44
into calm peaceful spots.
- 02:45 - 02:48
So let's move on to our affirmations for the day.
- 02:49 - 02:50
I
- 02:50 - 02:52
am a fast learner.
- 02:52 - 02:53
I am
- 02:54 - 02:55
a fast learner.
- 02:57 - 02:59
I am a confident learner.
- 03:00 - 03:03
I am a confident learner.
- 03:05 - 03:07
I can do many things.
- 03:07 - 03:09
I can do
- 03:09 - 03:10

- 03:11 - 03:12
Last one.
- 03:12 - 03:14
