- During the Elizabethan Era, there were a lot of words that were different from now. There were many words that were used in the Elizabethan language that are no longer in use, there were other words that have replaced them or the words are no longer required.

They also like to use poem. They also use words like most instead of very for example: You are most brave. You are most popular. You are most welcome. It is also most important. Their language is harder to understand because they uses a wider range of words and more indirect meanings. Only highly educated people can read and write welly.
Shakespeare is one on the important people of the Elizabethan Literature. Theaters were illegal in London so Shakespeare build his theater "THE GLOBE" in southwark. People who wants to watch his plays must come over. To tell the people from the other side what play there is, they use flags. White for comedy. Red for History and Black for tragedy. The Globe is a round shape theater which is not roofed. It uses natural light but the audiences have shaded seating except for the poor ones which cannot afford a seat but wants to watch the show. They would have to stand in front of the stage. Female are also not allowed on stage so female characters are male dressed up as female.
