Really Really Well

The New Academic Year

It's an important term...

We want you to do well.

Really well.

Good Luck

Uniform

Look smart, think smart.

Planners

Uniform

Your Planner will be checked every Friday at

the latest.

You will need to have your planner signed by your parents by Friday each week.

If you do not have your planner signed you will have to serve an extension every week.

Extensions

So Good Luck. We hope you can achieve some amazing things in the next few months

(Summer is not far away!)

Form Tutor Extensions will happen before you attend

Subject Tutor Extensions.

Having one extension is not an excuse not to attend the other. It is your responsibility not to get extensions!

(We will try and give your parents notice if you

stay beyond 4:15pm - but it's not required by law)

Absolutely NO hoodies, hats or non-uniform jumpers seen on College site.

Top buttons must be done up at all times.

Ties must show the 3 Hewens rectangles.

Black shoes only - you would not see Barack Obama wearing trainers with his suit!

Absolutely NO headphones - these will be confiscated if seen.

Girls' skirts must be at least knee length.

Remember: Look Smart, Think Smart.

KS4 Options

The College Day begins at 8.45.

From 8.50 you are late and will

serve an extension at the end of the day.

If you are late twice in a week you will be

given an SLT detention on Thursday.

Do everything you can to avoid this.

Travelling over to Rosedale.

Behaviour on the minibus.

Signing in at reception.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Have a great day and a wonderful term.

To everyone taking exams....

GOOD LUCK!

So we can provide you with the best education possible, we want you to be clear on a few things...

Listen up.

Mobile Phones

Rule: Your phone must not been seen

on College site.

Consequence: If it is, then the teacher will confiscate it and call your parent/guardian/carer who will have to come in and collect it.

It's easy to avoid:

- if you are in Year 8 hand your phone in to your form tutor

- KS4 put your phone in your bag and don't take it out until your leave College

It will probably get hot in the next few weeks. Quite rightly, you may want to take your blazers off.

In the classroom always ask your teacher first.

In the corridor make sure your blazer is visible, not tucked away in your bag. Thanks.
