If a Strandlander reaches the age of 16 without being able to surf, they will be enrolled in required surfing lessons.

Every Strandlander must learn how to surf b the age of 16. Surfing is a major part of our culture.

Rule #4

This rule will develop community interaction and all happiness. Along with this, the rule is good for memes

Rule #2 - Citizens must pass a test that relates to the subject at hand in order to vote

Upon seeing Jacques Normand Guillemette, you are to say, "Hello Jacques Normand Guillemette."

If voters have to be educated in order to vote, more proper decisions will be made.

Rule #11

The punishment for not abiding by this rule is losing the right to vote on the change.

Governing Body

Community Expectations

The government is very simple. A set of elected members from each island will propose laws that the citizens of Strandland will vote on. Along with this, there will be provided infrastructure, healthcare, police, judges, and military. All decisions and changes are voted upon by citizens via an app; however, the citizens must pass a test that reflects the information associated with the change in order to vote on said change.

Community members will be expected to vote and get a job. Diverse jobs will be available from farming to factory jobs to service jobs and jobs that require a higher level of education will also be available.

Problems and disputes will be solved through either the police or a set of elected judges depending on the situation.

Rule #3 - All citizens must vote on at least a third of the changes per year

The punishment for littering is getting poked aggressively to a just amount fitting to how much the perpetrator littered.

Citizens involved in their government will allow for a more well developed and prosperous society.

Littering pollutes the beaches and forests of Strandland, resulting in a poorer experience for all; therefore, no littering is allowed.

Holidays and Celebrations

Rule #10 - No littering.

Citizens who do not participate in voting will experience an increase in tax. The idea is that all citizens will contribute whether it be through tax or through voting.

The punishment for this comes simply from the consequences associated with not following the rule.

January 30: Nobody does anything for a day. This holiday is to remind people to just chill out, it is not worth stressing over.

These days were chosen because they are the birthdays of our founding fathers and mothers.

Citizens who respect each other as much as themselves will be caring and loving.

May 10: on this day, Strandland was declared independent from Cuba.

Rule #5 - No crime of any kind.

Rule #8 - Do unto others as you would unto yourself.

June 2: National Give a Compliment Day: sometimes people just need some affirmation to feel good.

Citizens must obey all rules upheld by any section of the governing body as well as all rules upheld by businesses.

The punishment will fit the crime; an eye for an eye.

Nicole's Birthday (Probably April 4): Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch Day

It's not really possible to not abide by this rule, so there is no punishment for not following the rule.

Rule #6 - All forms of race and religion will be accepted.

A person should not be held back for merely being injured or sick. Thus, healthcare will be supplied.

Strandland Motto

Rule #7 - All citizens must go to school at least through the 12 grade.

Discrimination leads to an unhappy society.

An educated society will produce more money and have a stronger economy.

Rule #9 - Healthcare will be free and supplied for the good of the society

th

If a person discriminates against another person in a derogatory manner, said person will be thrown out of the society without a second thought.

If you do not go to school, your taxes will be increased so that you contribute to the community one way or another.

"Education Leads to Prosperity"

If a family does not have a dog, they will be given a dog.

Dogs can help families bond and they teach children how to take care of something.

Rule #1 - Every Strandlander, must own a dog.

Meaning: Strandland is an educated society; thus, Strandland will prosper.

Acknowledgment of Sovereignty

The people of Strandland unite in order to depart from an uneducated government and populous; the society of Strandland must be created because it will set a precedent for human prosperity, collaboration, and overall capabilities. In order to create this strong society, the people of Strandland will be knowledgeable and capable of making moral and educated decisions as opposed to making decisions on a whim.

Why are we called Strandland?

Strand is German for "Beach." Our name represents the beach the residents of Strandland reside on.
