Now what if Young person isn't charged?

Young person completes program !!!

Well.. the police officer can send him of with a warning or refers young person to a program to get help

so the young person will be met with social workers and mental health workers

If he/her dosent do it, they are...

Sent back to court and faces the charges of someone who was charged with a serious crime

Which is....

Sentences from judge

Counseling

- Addiction counseling(drugs and alcohol)

- Mental Counseling

Community Service

-cleaning up garbage

-Volunteering

Prison

Restitution such as paying for damaged property

Sentences from judge:

Then young person completes program or sentence

If crime is serious young

person goes to court

and what happens next is up to the judge

young person breaks the law

depend on age of young person if under 14 he/her cant face adult sentence while 14 and older can

Sentence depends on how you present yourself to the judge:

Attitude- if you have a poor attitude and you don't regret what you did than chances are your sentence will be serious

Past records- if you have been charged before chances are you wont have an easy trial with the judge but if this is your first time and you seem sincere when you say you'll never do it again then judge will have more empathy towards you

Circumstances- It depends on what your crime is if its not something as serious as violence or murder than your sentence will be less serious than it would if you did something like that
