Lets say I were to go to a NASCAR race and Dale Earnhardt Jr were to start rounding a turn and his engine noise started to go down and his speed, once he was done with the turn he started to ACCELERATE. The formula for acceleration is: your unit of measurment per second squared.
Lets Say That I was riding my bike down a hill and every time I went down I hit a bump and I wanted know how much force I was applying to it so I would have to weigh myself and my bike and add them togother (approx. 130 lbs) and calculate acceleration (next slide) and multiply 130 times my acceleration.
Force=MassXAcceleration
Lets Say that I was dumb enough to go down a hill with my bike again, but this time with no bumps. when I went down I felt like I was going pretty fast but I wanted to know my real speed. So first I would figure out or estimate the distance that I go and the time it takes for me to get there. Once I figure out those two values I multiply and get my answer.
Speed=DistanceXTime
